Journeys in Lurûn

The World

Grim-bright. The darkness is deep — but the All-Wise is older than the dark, and there is always a road.

At the hinge of ages

Stone, bronze, verdigris

Lurûn stands where two ages meet. The old stone remembers everything; the first worked bronze is still a wonder — rare, hard-won, luminous. Cold stone is the ground the world stands on. Bronze is the single warm act of making. Verdigris is what time does to it. Every place here lives somewhere on that arc: liminal, wrought, and unfinished.

The long road

A road you cannot unwalk

To walk is to atone. An Oathband takes up its Vows and sets out to redeem what was lost, along a road that will not give them back the miles. The road is not kind. It exacts a price for every league — in weather and failing light, in hard ground, in the things that wait at the waymarks.

What follows

The Shadow

Something comes behind. It grows with the leagues and takes on a nature of its own — patient, and never far. To stop is to be found; to press on is to be tried. The dark is deep. But the All-Wise is older than the dark, and there is always a road, and someone on it.

Who walks it

The Oathband

You are not a hero. You are a company — a band of Pilgrims who are, together, the protagonist. They earn Renown and leave a Legacy; some are lost along the way; the story continues either way. Sing of their deeds.

Walk the road. Redeem what was lost.
